Mindfulness at Summit
Summit Emotional Health was founded with the goal of providing the Richmond community with a comprehensive and collaborative team of exceptionally qualified clinicians. This team includes two Mindfulness Consultants, Jake McDonald and Collin McConaghy, who are available for all of our clients who are interested in developing a mindfulness practice as a life skill for stress management, enhanced well-being and peak performance. Through formal and informal practices, our practitioners provide an individualized mindfulness plan that meets each client’s needs and life circumstances. They also help our clients understand the link between a healthy mind and body through the awareness of how mindfulness, exercise, nutrition and sleep all work together and play a vital role in their well-being. Current clients include: student-athletes, parents, business executives, health practitioners and more. These sessions are a non-therapeutic approach to personal growth, and not intended to replace professional help related to mental or physical health.
