- Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology from Washington State University

Michele brings an integrative perspective to her practice that considers the individual’s personal beliefs, cultural and societal influences, and the therapeutic relationship itself. In her body-mind-spirit approach, she uses positive psychology components such as gratitude, mindfulness, and self compassion to move her clients towards peace of mind and overall good health. In addition to working with mood and anxiety disorders, Dr. Primavera gravitates towards concerns such as: women’s issues; gender/sexual orientation exploration issues;
grief and loss; unresolved family of origin issues; adult AD/HD; work/life balance; and adjustment issues.
In her free time, Michele enjoys yoga, Zumba, swimming, meditation and simply being outdoors. She is a member of a mindfulness meditation community in Richmond and attends meditation retreats locally. Her favorite activities also include listening to live music, travel, spending time with others, and reading way too many books at one time!
